This signature Vanguard attribute is a very high risk/high reward attack. It moves the Vanguard right to their opponent, bypassing all terrain in between them, and adds a boost to the Vanguards Personal Barrier. The Vanguard can pass through furniture, rock, walls, and even pass over ravines to reach their target, but they must be able to see at least 2/3s of the target to initiate a Charge. Charge adds 1 rank to the Vanguards Personal Barrier, and this rank may go above there max rank in Personal Barrier, but if it does the extra ranks fade at 1 rank per round. If the Vanguard's Personal Barrier was damaged when he charged and the boost does not bring him past his normal max, the points remain until they are lost through normal means. The target may also be knocked down from a charge. The Vanguard only needs to succeed in a touch attack to land a Charge. Charge requires L5n implants to be used, currently they are only supplied to Vanguards.

Charge is built with the Special attack rules and has the following abilities:

Ability Description
Aura Rather than having to make an actual attack, the character instead automatically damages anyone who touches his or her body.
Boost Barrier Boosts the Personal Barrier of the character by 1 rank each time this attribute is chosen. The boost can raise the character over there normal limit for Personal Barrier but if it does the extra ranks fade at 1 rank per round. Any Boost that is below the characters normal Personal Barrier remain as normal.
Range The range of Charge is equal to the characters normal charge distance.
Unstoppable The character can pass through furniture, rock, walls, and even pass over ravines to reach their target, but they must be able to see at least 2/3s of the target to initiate a Charge
Slow The attacker must use one combat action to charge before each attack. Someone with the Extra Attacks Attribute can use one of his or her extra actions to prepare the attack rather than wasting the entire round.

Damage: Charge begins at 1d8 damage

Knockdown Save: 10+Rank+1 per die of damage

Addition ranks of this attribute can be used to purchase: Boost Barrier or an extra 1d8 damage.

Cost: 4/16 initially, this Attribute is a Rank 4 special attack, then 1 or 4 points per rank
