Regions and Bonuses
This is a bonus language in addition to those granted by race, intelligence, or linguistics skill.
This skill is always in class for the character. In addition the character receives a bonus equal to half their character level (min 1)
Weapons and Armor:
Those who grew up in the heartland have been trained that everything can be a weapon. The character may choose one of the following as a bonus feet at character creation. (Catch Off Guard or Throw Anything)
- Home terrain:
Those that grow up in this region are schooled to be ever wary of the Harzium threat. They may chose a terrain from the following list as their home terrain. (Urban, Plains, or Forest) The Hidden Heart gains a +1 bonus on initiative checks and Knowledge (geography), Perception, Stealth, and Survival skill checks when within their home terrain. At level 5 and every 5 levels beyond fifth this bonus increases by +1. A Hidden Heart traveling through their home terrain normally leaves no trail and cannot be tracked (though they may leave a trail if they chooses to).
